ComponentsUpgrading
License Manager
  • Automatic license renew implemented. The system will try to renew it through an Internet connection.
  • Now it's possible to automatically update the license . ("Auto update" button in the "Update" tab). A log file (licMan.log, in PCam main folder) is generated every time an automatic update is executed.
  • License transfer has been removed.
PostProcessors
All PPs
  • Modification of autoincrement feature of single registers after use of same number for all of them. The single increment was always related to the last single register number. Found at Telit.
ACT Spark
(Xenon)
  • The wire will be moved in the vertical position (U and V moved back to zero) before a cylindrical cut and at program end. Requested by BAC (Locati).
  • This PP has been modified to avoid multiple M00 due to thread and cut wire commands when no positioning movements have been generated.
  • Conic NC code can be generated with double blocks or with XYUV. The PP can be configured in its configuration panel by setting or clearing xyuv option
  • It is now possible to change the number of digits after decimal point (3-6). The no-core cut NC code is now generated with G41 H0 instead of G40
  • Modified to generate G40, G41 and G42 NC blocks with H register based on the official handbook examples. Before this modification, the profile entry and exit path displayed on the CNC screen was wrong.
  • If the NC code is generated from PCamPocket, it automatically contains C096 and C097 to reduce generator power at main cut profile entry and exit. Requested by KH Lin for BAC
AGIE

100,200,300,
100,200,300 Dialog,
100,200,300 HSS,
100,200,300 Sprint
  • These PPs have been modified to correctly compute the Q angle of standard conic profiles when the entry is not perpedicular to the first profile element. This has been announced by customer Ronda (Herzog).
100,200,300,
100,200,300 Dialog,
100,200,300 HSS,
100,200,300 Sprint
  • Tilted threading now produces a Q angle with the right sign. Announced by Tecnostyle.
  • Changing the tool along constant angle conical profiles now produces  "G43 Q". Announced by Stamec.
100,200,300 Dialog,
100,200,300 HSS,
100,200,300 Sprint
  • Modified to generate MAC WIE commands at JOB file end. Announced by Herzog for Bachmann customer.
  • The reduction of the number of geo files has been modified to avoid the use of DDR because this function is modal and overwrites all the technology changes found along the profiles.
Note: "AutoIncrement" option must be disabled. "Name, All" must be enabled.
  • Automatic renumbering of the technology registers implemented. The registers are renumbered separately in each technology file. They are renumbered as soon as they differ in, at minimum, one parameter. Registers D,P,T,S (and V for HSS) are always renumbered together. This feature has been requested by customer Ronda (Herzog).
Note: "AutoIncrement" option must be disabled. "Name, All" must be enabled.
100,200,300 HSS
  • This version generates V register in technology file. To be compatible with older machines, if V is set equal to 0, the new line doesn't appear in the tec file. Requested by Ronda.
Agievision Cut
  • This PP has been modified to generate the technology parameters modification lines (ID_TEC) for AGIE technology database. This has been requested by SFS (CALL 6605) because the previous versions allowed modification of USER technology only. These lines are now always generated after GenerateCuts lines.
  • The tool sets now SpeedPriority to true by default. Requested by AGIE (Cavalli, Nasciuti) to optimize the use of best cutting technology.
  • The technological height was not correct for the last profile of a JOB if this was followed by another JOB with different technological height value. This problem has been announced by Henning Soennichsen for Roetger customer (CALL 6548).
  • NoCore group AGIE quality target and User technology will be associated to both WORKs and no more to the GROUP. This has been modified because the WORKs do not inherit from the pocketing GROUP.
Vertex
(Agievision Cut V)
  • This is a new AGIE PP to support this new two wires machine. The PP has new parameters for quality target and it allows to choose the two wires and the type of cuts they have to be used with.
  • It is possible to disable the two wires control. The CNC select the wires defined in the user technology. Requested by AGIE (Cavalli, Nasciuti).
  • It is possible to program a SepCut and Clearance from PCamEdm. Requested by SPT Roth.
  • NoCore group AGIE quality target and User technology will be associated to both WORKs and no more to the GROUP. This has been modified because the WORKs do not inherit from the pocketing GROUP.
Agievision Tron (Innovation)
  • NCCode blocks at program start were generated before 'sub main'. Requested by Haenggi.
Charmilles
RF1000, ISO
  • Automatic generation of 0.01 mm line at start and end of single arc conic profile changed. Before this modification the NC code of this type of profiles was wrong. Announced by customer BVA.
  • A crash has been corrected occurring when the conic operation was followed by the offset operation with the new offset possibilities. It was due to the CLE command behaviour requested by Hager.
RF1000
  • SMA handling requested by Hager changed to generate MOV command with reference to global origin and not to SMA coordinates.
  • Modified to let the user choose if he wants absolute or relative coordinates for the MOV command generated after SMA,X<val>,Y<val>. To generate absolute coordinates X and Y must be written lowercase, to generate relative coordinates X and Y must be written uppercase. Modified for Hager.
  • This version now generates M09 even if no M07 or M08 have been generated before. Requested by customer Stoeckli (Herzog), Call 6820
RF330F, Millenium CNC (RF440F)
  • These PPs can now be configured to avoid generation of constant taper profiles with M15 P1 mode. These profiles will be generated in M15 P11 mode. Requested by customer BVA (CALL 6490).
  • The reference of conic profiles was always 0 with active file number reduction. Requested by Herzog.
Millenium CNC (RF440F)
  • Clearance support added. It generates e.g. G10 P16 R0.003 and resets the clearance to zero when needed. Same clearance is now generated only once.

  • Configuration of "Work Coordinate System 10" added. This option generates G154 and G155 in place of the standard G54 and G55.
Configuration of "Reference on start point" added. This option generates "G92 X Y" with X and Y equal to the coordinates of the first point. The default behaviour remains to generate "G92 X0.0 Y0.0" followed by "G00 X Y".
These two options have been requested by KHL for ChiLin customer, Call 6814
Tools (.TOO)
All PPs
  • In Simulation is possible to set Offset freely. Previously were allowed only values >= 0.5 Wire diameter. This feature has been requested by Ronda (Herzog) to have the same value for Register D and Simulation Offset with Agie123 tools even for Register D = 0.

  • Changes done to label widths and captions for ASUS and Agie Italia customers.
  • Modified to avoid wrong enabling of Ra,Tkm,Te fields when Create Quality is disabled
AGIE Vertex
  • New checkbox in the Wires page to disable the two wires control.
  • Selecting the Tf value the corrisponding Tkm value is also automatically selected and vice versa
Operations (.OPE)
Cut
  • This operation allows now to cut profiles on a marker. To activate this behaviour, check the marker option in the dialog panel. Requested by customer BVA (wish 6743).
Entry, Exit
  • These operations offer now the definition of a new type of smooth profile entry and exit : smooth. The original smooth entry and exit are now named smooth 90. The entry approach motion will be done directly to the arc without the additional straight line. The same happens for the exit motion. It is possible to indicate the opening angle of the arcs. Requested by customer RONDA (Herzog).
  • Tangential entry and exit are set for NoCore finishing machining. Requested by AGIE Italia (Negrelli).
NoCore
  • Generates a clearer message for bad starting hole. This problem has been sent by customer Ladeby.
  • This operation rarely produced slugs with some profiles. The path computation could be blocked in an infinite loop too. This version eliminates these problems. The last cases have been announced by KHLin and Hager.
  • Changes done to numerical inputs validation procedure to simplify user interaction requested by FB Stampi.
  • Start hole diameter now has to be at least 0.001mm larger than Cut Width.
Round
  • This operation allows now the programming of overcuts at internal corners. These new functions work only with 2D contours. There are 4 different types of overcuts :
    - bisectrix
    - before
    - after
    - round
The parameters are explained on the pictures of the dialog panel.
Requested by several customers (CALL 6760, 6520).
Extensions
Conical Surfaces
  • Changing a STD arc with undercuts to ISO and then back to STD, shows now the same conic shape. Before this modification, the STD arc was different.
Gear
  • This Extension has been modified to add the option to save the protocol as a text file. The user now can choose if print the form or save to the text file c:\temp\gearReport.txt.
Requested by KH Lin for DKSH Ltd (CALL 6676).
Sinking
  • A new checkbox allows the activation of security and approach levels on a series of contours.
  • A new checkbox let the user decide whether  the electrode offset and horizonthal depth have to be computed or not.
  • The module accepts now open contours too.
 Standard Contours
  • Modified to generate polylines from points files in polar coordinates. Requested by Lin.

Shearing extension

  • The conical surface computation algorithm has been rewritten to avoid saw tooth shapes. Modified for customer OMEC-Ovaro.
  • Additional modification to avoid wrong long segments at conical level with large angles. Found by LG with OMEC-Ovaro. This version displays a warning message if the resulting conical profile contains undercuts and/or loops. This is important because the loops are not shown with pink points when "contour direction" is activated
CAD
  • The contours generated from 360 degrees arcs always maintained the original arc direction ignoring user selected contour direction. This problem has been found by importing these arcs from an IGES file. Announced by customer Tecnostampi.
  • It is now possible again to define an open contour with its start point placed at first element extremity. This definition was not accepted and produced an error message telling the user that the offset side could not be determined.
  • "Comma" problem by dxf files export has been corrected.
  • When an open contour is defined and the start point is on the same line as the first contour element, an error message tells the user that in that case, the offset side cannot be determined. The contour will not be created and the user must move the point. Requested by RGM
  • Modification to avoid problems when contour start point is very close to first element. Before this modification, if start point was at a distance of less than 0.01 mm from first element, the wrong message "Entry motion has the same direction as the first contour element. Offset side cannot be automatically determined" was shown. Requested by ADB
  • Drag&Drop from explorer sometimes freezed the PC. Wait cursor is now displayed during contour construction and destruction in CAD view. Requested by ADB.
Simulation
  • Undercuts are now shown if undercut angle is 25 degrees or smaller. Before this modification angle was a lot smaller and some undercuts were not shown. Requested by LG with OMEC-Ovaro.
