General
- PCam supports WindowsME
- The program PCamReg.exe can be used to register or unregister PCam components
- PCam has now a chinese, a portugese and a svedish version
- The textfont setting (Tools - program view- Fonts) inside the TreeView will now be saved
Simulation - NC View
- After a PP run the simulation and the NC code is rappresented in a new way. The method of working remains the same
MachineBar
- Using the toolbar "show machinebar" you can show or hide the machinebar
- For every licensed postprocessor PCam will during the installation create a machine inside the machinebar
- This machines have a lot of properties you can modify (right mouse click on a machine symbol will call the needed menu)
- Before running the postprocessor you have to select a machine
Marker on surfaces
- Using the operation INSERT you can define events on contours or surfaces. The place where this event should happen can be done defining a distance or a marker. Within PCam 5.0 the definition of a marker is also possible on surfaces
- In addition: the marker will be displayed with a white square
Operation Conic
- a ISO radius can now be defined at the begin or at the end of a contour. Before PCam generated in situations like this a standardconic. Only one arc is allowed at the begin or at the end of a contour.
Operation INSERT - Drop out security
- For punching dies a surface can automatically be changed inserting this event.
CAD: multiple rounding, modify rounding, Splines, Ellipses, multiple lines
- a sequence of lines and arcs can be rounded Choose the function, type in the radius and select the sequence
- Existing roundings ca be modifyed. Select the arc - right mouse click to get the menu - Choose "modify rounding"
- a tangentdirection at the begin and at the end of a spline can be defined
- there exist now the element: ellipse
- these function has been enlarged. Colinear lines or arcs with the same centerpoint and the same radius will be reorganized
PCam Extensions
- One geometry can be worked on within an extention. The result can now be used (transfered) in another extention just by choosing this extention
PP Changes
- More or less all postprocessors had some changes, for example Charmilles with ISO radius, AGIE Vision Cut (before this PP was called Evolution) with a lot of new options inside the tool, AGIE VisionCut 2 (one postprocessor which uses the AGIEVison machine like a HSS)

- During the import it's possible to rotate the data along the axes XYZ. To do this, you have to set the system before importing the data: Tools, Geometries import/export, IGES, Properties
- An existing datastructure inside the IGES file, e.g. borderline, surface, ecc. will be generated in PCam and can be used to select the desired information.
